Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your Cleanister order. Here's exactly how
returns, refunds, and damaged items are handled.


Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered,
contact us within 14 days of delivery at Cleanister@proton.me with a
photo of the item and your order number. Once approved, we'll send you
a free replacement or a full refund, in most cases you won't need to
ship anything back to us.


Change-of-mind returns

Outside of the European Union, we do not accept returns for change of
mind once an item has been used. If your item is unused, in its
original packaging, and it has been 14 days or less since delivery,
contact us at Cleanister@proton.me and we'll let you know if a return
is possible for your specific order.


European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the legal
right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for
any reason, without needing to give a justification. To exercise this
right, contact us at Cleanister@proton.me within 14 days of receiving
your order. Your item must be unused and in its original packaging.
We'll reply with return instructions. Once we receive the returned
item (or proof that you've sent it), we'll process your refund within
14 days, as required by EU law.


Non-returnable items

The following can't be returned: perishable goods, custom or
personalized items, opened personal care/hygiene products, and
hazardous materials. This does not affect your EU cooling-off rights
described above, where applicable by law.


Exchanges

We don't currently offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different
variant or product, return your original item (following the steps
above) and place a new order once your return is confirmed.


Refunds

Once your return or claim is approved, refunds are issued to your
original payment method within 10 business days. Please note it can
take additional time for your bank or card provider to show the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you
haven't received your refund, contact us at Cleanister@proton.me.
